Bihar is battling with floods again the second time this year. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red warning for heavy rain for the state. The water level in the Ganga and other rivers have surged after heavy rainfall continued to lash the region. The highest rainfall was recorded in Samastipur, Bhagalpur, Begusarai, and Bhojpur districts, which received rainfall above 130 mm. The flood situation in Bihar is extremely alarming, the affected areas are severely hit.
